In the glimpses of daily life,

A cup of tea contains the leisurely openness and respect of sitting together with mountains and seas.

It is also a seat of impermanence to watch the passing of all things.

Gathered with the Mountain and Sea aims to show the unique and condescending mountain and sea scenery of the Dipit tribe. The elements of tea seats are used to express the deep connection between nature and life. The tea sets, dyed fabrics, and natural elements on the table carry the memory of life in the mountains and seas. The fabrics are dyed with natural materials such as local soil and indigo. They flutter in the wind, showing the earth’s colors and the impermanent beauty of daily changes.

The work combines the indigo dyeing technique and herbs tea from Dipit tribe, the triangular silhouette symbolizes the shape of Patellidae which the tribe is named after. While the visitors sit in this tea banquet in the rice fields surrounded by mountains and seas, observing the flow of light shadow, and wind, perceiving the subtle changes in nature, and rediscovering inner peace and leisurely comfort.
